The Club Med Foundation supports the association “Ma chance, moi aussi” which provides educational support to extremely vulnerable children from families with educational difficulties, living in priority neighbourhoods in France. By means of comprehensive, continuous and standardised monitoring, Ma chance, moi aussi provides children with all the tools they need to shape themselves as adults, so that “they too” have every chance of integrating society and playing an active role in deciding their future.
About Ma Chance, moi aussi
“Ma chance, moi aussi” is a French association, created in 2014 in Chambéry (73), which mainly works with children aged 6 in order to quickly start afresh with their basic education and behaviour. It provides support every evening after school, on Wednesday afternoon and during 50% of the school holidays, over a period of 10 years. In 2017, the association opened branches in Albertville and Aix-les-Bains. This allows it to support almost 100 children in the Savoie region.

With the Club Med Foundation
Several times a year, both in winter and summer, the children supported by the association “Ma chance, moi aussi” are welcomed by G.O and G.E in the Club Med mountain resorts to enjoy fun-packed, sport-filled days.
Use of funds collected
The funds collected will be used to finance sporting and cultural activities, organised by the association “Ma chance, moi aussi” in the mountains throughout the year. These activities, practised in a secure setting and supervised by adults, allow each child to discover that they have resources, moral qualities and values they did not know they had. Mountain sports require a personal commitment, for example taking risks. As for cultural activities, they provide the children with knowledge of their region and France as a whole. This will empower them and develop their self-confidence
