About the "Casamasanté" Association
Created in January 2013, “Casamasanté” is a humanitarian association, which aims to facilitate access to healthcare and promote childcare in Africa. It is working to make essential healthcare accessible to children and families in vulnerable situations and also to provide preventive healthcare for severe illnesses.
“Casamasanté" is currently running a Preventive Medicine Programme for schools and a Health Centre for 1 000 families in Cap Skirring. It has also donated equipment to schools in the area. Future projects include the construction of an itinerant health centre in Cachouane.

With the Club Méditerranée Foundation
The Foundation supports the “Casamasanté” Association in a number of ways. GOs (Lara : and GEs ?) are encouraged to use their skills by doing voluntary work during vaccination campaigns, GO volunteers and Club Med's airline partner help with transportation of material, and the Foundation also provides financial support.
Use of funds
The funds raised by the Friends of the Foundation are used primarily to purchase pharmaceuticals and equipment for the dispensary and also to finance vaccination and awareness campaigns (vaccines, toothbrush, toothpaste etc).
