The Club Méditerranée Foundation provides financial support to the Apprentis d'Auteuil, which helps young people in difficulty to integrate within society. At Saint-Estèphe, near the Club Med resort of La Palmyre, it took part in the renovation of the Saint Etienne boarding school and accommodated the children at the Worldwide Snack.
About the Apprentis d'Auteuil
For almost 150 years, Apprentis d'Auteuil, a catholic foundation officially recognised as being in the public interest, has been developing programmes in France and abroad for accommodating, educating, training and integrating young people and families in difficulty in order to build up what they lack the most, that is, their confidence. Each year, 27,000 beneficiaries, young people and their families, receive caring professional coaching suited to the specific needs of everyone.
With the Club Méditerranée Foundation
Since 2004, the Club Méditerranée Foundation has been providing financial support to Apprentis d’Auteuil. In addition, it takes part in charitable initiatives thanks to the involvement of employees from Paris and Lyon (awareness events directed at the youth, charity jumble sales, etc.) What's more, since 2014, the Saint Estèphe boarding school and the Toulon children's home are supported, respectively, by the Club Med Resorts of La Palmyre Atlantic and Opio in Provence.
Use of the collected funds
The funds raised through the Friends of the Foundation are intended for the 'Feel good in order to build better relations' project with the renovation of 3 rooms at a cost of €20,000. The purpose of the project is to promote dialogue, friendship and a balanced upbringing for the children aged 5 to 10 years of the Saint-Estèphe boarding school, with meeting areas, reading areas and personalised supervision, etc.
